OFFICIAL RELEASE OF THE
2008 RVC SIFE ANTI-PIRACY PSA

(Rockford, IL)  The Rock Valley College Students In Free Entrerprise created the above Anti-Piracy PSA for the 2008 MPAA/SIFE National Anti-Piracy Public Service Announcement Contest sponsored by the Motion Picture Association of America and Graceland University SIFE.

The Soundtrack is an original RVC SIFE track which features Recording Artist Mass Destruction from Charlotte, NC and Singer/Actress Luciana Fleming from Chicago, Illinois.

MPAA SPONSORS THIRD ANNUAL NATIONWIDE CONTEST FOR COLLEGE STUDENTSLogo, SIFE

For the 2008 school year, the MPAA partnered with Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) to launch a third annual nationwide anti-piracy public service announcement (PSA) contest for students in SIFE chapters. SIFE, with programs on 1,800 universities in 47 countries, is a business and higher education network that mobilizes university students to utilize knowledge learned in the classroom to implement projects that address real world business and economic issues in their communities. The contest was open to students in SIFE’s 900 U.S. chapters that submit the most effective and creative 60-second anti-piracy PSA as part of an overall campaign to educate local and campus communities about the importance of intellectual property protection. The top three winners receive a monetary prize and potential for national exposure of their PSAs.

The following are the top three winners from the 2006-2007 MPAA/SIFE PSA contest.
